Measuring probes, pilot plants and special machine construction

When measuring exhaust gas compositions, it is crucial to cool down the gas mixture as quickly as possible in order to stop the reaction. That is why gas probes are generally water cooled. Simultaneously the gas exhaust probes must be as small as possible, so that it interferes the least possible with the current. A combination of numerical parameters and additional manufacturing will here as well,  allow to break new grounds in performance.

It is often a challenge to place a measuring sensor at the desired placement, without simultaneously interrupting the current.

By using a combination of several assessment methods, in a measuring probe, one can minimize the interference. Additive manufacturing facilitates compact building and enables high test point density measurements.

This is particularly interesting in regards to enhancing the resolution of the measurement, by targeting as many measurement points as possible, on a very limited area.

We dispose of extensive experience in the construction of such complex exhaust gas probes.

Oftentimes we will equip our water-cooled probes, EGT probes and flue gas sensors with supplementary compression/pressure measuring points and thermocouples/thermal elements.

Depending on the assessing method,  measurements with probes inevitably will have a repercussion on the current.

Minimally invasive components, filigree and fluid dynamically improved structures, combined with  a high density of measuring points can be easily incorporated in a wide range of variations in the construction of the sensors or probes.

We create each heat exchangers individually according to your demand. While doing so generative design allows us to realize complex geometrical structures, which we optimize with simulations tools (CFD, FEM) during the development.

Measuring tracks are highly complex systems. They enable the examination of a test object and they simulate realistic usage conditions.

A measuring track has to fit in the preexisting infrastructure and has to be compatible with different measuring methods.
